Dear member,

The first term of the current Chair of the RICS Europe World Regional Board is coming to an end. In view of this we are starting the selection process for the next RICS Europe Board Chair. As per the RICS governance, both the incumbent Chair and other qualified members are eligible for applying to serve as RICS Europe Board Chair for the next period of 3 years.

Qualified members working in continental Europe who would like to put themselves forward are requested to complete the attached application form and send it to Ann Vander Jeugt on avanderjeugt@rics.org by 17 February 2012 latest. For your information you will find attached the Terms of Reference of the RICS Europe Board and the Europe Board Chair role description.

An application process including interviews will be organised and a formally set up member panel (composed of one member of the Management Board, one lay member of the global Nominations Committee, and one senior RICS Europe member) will make a recommendation to Management Board on the appointment of the Chair of the RICS Europe World Regional Board for the next three year period.

Interviews for short-listed candidates will take place by teleconference on 16 March 2012.
