Dear Members, dear All

I was very honoured to be asked to take the chair of the first RICS Romanian Board and I would like to assure you all that I will do my best to see that RICS Romania grows.

2009 was a very difficult year and I sincerely hope that 2010 will be a year of recovery and growth for all.  Romania is well positioned to take advantage of the expected recovery and subsequent growth of the Global economy and those of us in the property industry should be the first beneficiaries. 

What can the RICS do for you and your business?  Well that is to some extent in your hands.   You can only take out what you put in.   We have two fronts in which to operate: i) supporting you the member to ensure that you have the training and resources to operate at the highest levels and; ii) promoting the skills of the Chartered Surveyor to industry and business. 

My goal is to establish RICS Romania as a well recognised professional body in Romania with its members offering quality professional services across the whole of the property industry. I want ensure that it is first and foremost perceived as a Romanian organisation.
