Dear Members, dear All

Welcome to the new RICS Board in Romania, which came into place as of 24 January 2011. The new Board will fulfill a strategic remit, assuming an active role in further developing the RICS membership, propagating its long established standards and best practices to all market players and engaging with the most active professional bodies and institutional players within the property community in order to achieve a more transparent, mature and safer business environment.

RICS has selected its new Board at a time when the Romanian economical climate is reviving from a very difficult year 2010 marked by severe public austerity measures , but being set for a more promising year 2011 meant to be the first year of growth.

Members of the Board are nominated from a diversity of property sectors, trying to ensure a very wide skill sets and representation for its membership objectives.

While the property profession has been traditionally at forefront of economical prosperity, RICS through its global knowledge resources and multidisciplinary professional coverage is committed to work alongside its present and future Romanian members in order to support their professional development and knowledge, to improve their business performance and offer better standards and practices for the local property market.      

RICS is delighted to welcome the new board members and looks forward to working closely with them in ensuring that the most relevant Romanian property objectives remain relevant on RICS agenda in the coming years.
