Enrolment fee

Upon enrolment to the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), the candidate will pay a fee which will enable him/her to be registered as an RICS Trainee, as follows (see 2011 Country enrolment fee list).

No-show fee

Failure to inform RICS that the candidate cannot attend the Final Assessment he/she is registered for will result in us having to charge a no-show fee of 400 EUR in 75% and 100% countries and 200 EUR in 65% countries.

Referral fee

In case the candidate is not successful at the Final Assesment, he/she will be able to re-sit his/her Final Assessment by paying the Referral fee (see 2012 Referral fee list attached).

Appeal fee

In case a referred candidate wants to appeal against the outcome of the Final Assessment, he/she will be requested to pay an administrative fee of 150 EUR. This fee will be returned if the appeal is upheld.

Please note that in most countries VAT needs to be applied to the fees listed above. To check the percentage that applies to your country, liaise with the National Group in your country or the RICS Europe office in Brussels (www.ricseurope.eu/contacts)

Qualification fee

Upon successful completion of the Final Assessment, the new member will pay the full subscription for qualified members, i.e.
Library obligation: 71 EUR
Professional Member entrance fee: 115 EUR
Lionheart (optional charity): 25 EUR
RICS subscription fee (see attached file '2012 Subscription fees')

Please note that if you qualify before 30 September, the trainee fee needs to be deducted from the MRICS fee. If you qualify as from 1 October, the full MRICS fee needs to be paid, as it will cover the following subscription year.
