Dear members,

Further to recent communications, we are now opening the application process for the appointment of Chair of the RICS Rossia & CIS National Group. Also, at the same time we want to add more Board members in the Built Environment (Construction/Project Management/Quantity Surveying) and Commercial Real Estate Groups. You will find attached three different application forms.

The role of the Chair is to lead the further development of the RICS strategy for Russia & CIS and actively support the implementation of this strategy, collaborating closely with the local board and staff, in the context of the RICS global strategy.  In addition, the position will involve liaising on a regular basis with the RICS Europe Board. The Chair is expected to have significant leadership experience, as well as the required time to dedicate to the development of RICS in Russia & CIS. A competent knowledge of the English language is essential to allow communication with the global RICS. The Chair’s term will be for three years, with the possibility to extend for a further three year term.  

As far as the Built Environment and Commercial Real Estate Board positions are concerned, their role is to contribute to the work done by the board both in developing the strategy and supporting its implementation by the staff. Competent knowledge of the English language is required. Board members' terms are for three years, with the possibility to extend for a further three year term.
